# Questing

Whether you're engaging in gameplay, interacting socially, or exploring blockchain features, the Quest Board offers various challenges tailored to different types of players.

### **Types of Quests:**

The Quest Board features a diverse set of quests across multiple categories, including:

* **In-Game Activity Quests** – Tasks related to the EpicApes Adventures game, such as completing locations, battling enemies, or upgrading characters.
* **Social Activity Quests** – Engage with the community by following, sharing, or participating in discussions on social media and Discord.
* **NFT Activity Quests** – Involve tasks such as minting, upgrading, or trading NFTs within the EpicApes ecosystem.
* **Blockchain Interaction Quests** – Actions like connecting a wallet, making transactions, or interacting with smart contracts.
* **Seasonal Quests** – Special activities, limited-time challenges, and experimental tasks to keep players engaged.

### **Quest Categories:**

Quests are structured based on their availability and purpose:

* **Daily Quests** – Refresh every 24 hours, providing consistent opportunities to earn rewards.
* **Permanent Quests** – One-time or repeatable quests with no time limit, allowing players to complete them at their own pace.
* **Refferal Quests** - Reward users for inviting new players into the ecosystem. The more referrals a user brings in—and the more active those referrals are—the greater the rewards in $EXP and other bonuses.
* **Partnered Quests** – Special quests created in collaboration with **third-party projects**, offering unique challenges and rewards tied to EpicApes ecosystem partnerships.

By completing quests, players can accumulate $EXP (Experience Points), climb leaderboards, and unlock valuable in-game and ecosystem rewards. The Quest Board serves as a core feature of EpicApes, encouraging active participation while rewarding engagement in multiple ways.

{% hint style="success" %}
$EXP is an off-chain token and plays a crucial role in determining each player's share of the $EPIC token airdrop. To ensure fairness and transparency, all $EXP-related activities are recorded on-chain, even though the token itself remains off-chain.
